Summer, Summer, Summertime…

By admin in LRR

With the insanity of finals week upon us, I always find myself doing one of the most unproductive things for the time. That’s right, I’m putting together a summer reading list, when I should clearly be studying or writing essays! But breaks are shown to be effective in studying- if you study for too long, your brain gets tired. So for everyone who’s prepping for finals, remember to stay healthy, take lots of breaks. Also don’t forget to get plenty of sleep and water!

Back on topic, in perusing the web for a books to read this summer, I came across an interesting meme published by The Guardian (a lovely UK newspaper that you all should read!) back in 2007. They have posted a list of 100 books you should read- and alongside, have claimed that the average population has only read six! I myself have only read 30, so I definitely am making it a priority to get through the rest of the list in the next few weeks.

So are you up for the challenge? See how many you’ve read, and pass this along to your friends!
