So here we are. The new 2011 Long River Review staff hard at work, looking at business cards, discussing our own favorite literary magazines and how to make our own humble production better. We discussed some excellent new ideas like a Flash Fiction contest, interviews with Uconn professors, and the overall quality of the submissions we had received and read thus far. So far so good.

Unfortunately, nothing last forever. By the end of the night, chaos erupted! Penelope and Joe couldn’t decide what shade of purple our business cards were, why Reed kept bringing up donkeys, or just what Sam found so terrifying about a notepad! How will we ever pull together a good magazine that everyone will want to read?! Give the Long River staff something to focus their energies on and submit your short poems, fiction, creative non-fiction and art to the Review! Only YOU can help prevent reader ire.
